Dr. Carlos Takahashi is a proud Mexican Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, who is passionate in delivering the best experience possible to his patient’s trough a very well planned clinic with many protocols in place to make his patients relax and receive the best oral surgery consultation experience possible.
Dr. Takahashi’s dental degree was obtained at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, one of Mexico’s top ranked universities in dental training. From early on he was passionate about surgical procedures, taking a keen interest in doing extra clinic duties in the oral surgery department throughout his career.
When the opportunity came, he was selected to do his one-year social service at the Instituto Jaliscience de Cirugia Reconstructiva, one of the best training facilities on Plastic Surgery in the world. Dr. Takahashi was assigned to the dental department, in which he learned about oral orthpedics in patients with cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery and reconstructive surgery. This was his foundation into deciding his specialty route.
A year later, Dr. Takahashi was drafted into the Ciudad Juarez General Hospital Residency program, in which he did extensive training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in one of the most dangerous cities in the world at the time. He had extensive trauma training given the circumstances and was able to do his last year rotation with one of the top OMS surgeons in the world at Pediatrics Hospital in Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI in which he was involved in extensive pediatrics craniofacial surgery training.
Dr. Takahashi’s long term goal is to keep growing his practice into a referendum for patients seeking orthognatic surgery procedures, state of the art oral surgery procedures and to commence a free of charge foundation to help Mexicans suffering from Cleft Lip and Palate.
Currently he is happily married to his lovely wife who is an Oral Medicine and Pathology Specialist, they have two dogs and a very lovely hosehold.
