“Pochet Group develops the premium, sustainable beauty packaging of the future.”

On all of our sites, it was an incredible year full with festivities. It assisted in bringing together all of our current and former employees, shareholders’ family members, as well as customers, suppliers, government officials, partners, etc. Without a doubt, we wanted to commemorate our past and the remarkable longevity of the organization.

After the Qualipac sell-off project, it was crucial to get all teams together for this anniversary and have them concentrate on a single project. Additionally, it enabled our consumers to (re)discover the Group, its past, and our creations, which strengthened our long-standing bonds with them. They share their history with us.

A fantastic chance to resolvely look to the future from a sustainable viewpoint is presented by our 400th anniversary. This is actually a component of a strategy plan that we have established until 2026 with the unmistakable goal of making our teams the indispensable, enduring partner of the beauty sector. It is built around three pillars: be a responsible player for both people and the environment, a value-provider through our performance, and a premium solution creator for our customers, especially thanks to our exceptional expertise in multi-materials, innovative partnerships, and trading. It represents an investment of 160 million euros over four years for the entire group.

The Pochet Group has long been devoted to a CSR approach that integrates both environment and social issues at its core, driven by the fervent views of the ownership family. We have recently revised our roadmap for 2023–2030, and the specifics will be revealed at the following Luxe Pack Monaco exhibition. In order to cut our CO2 emissions by 50% by 2033, we have placed a heavy emphasis on decarbonization.

Numerous projects are included in this decarbonization strategy; for instance, our first oven will be entirely electric by the end of 2024. It will be France’s first electric oven for the production of luxury bottles. Additionally, as part of the Metron initiative in collaboration with Chanel, we have a measurement equipment that we use to keep track of how much energy we use per item.

It’s also important to note that both men and women are vital to this CSR strategy. By spending over 10 million euros to improve the ergonomics of sorting stations, we have placed a strong emphasis on this goal and helped to ensure that our staff have access to optimal working circumstances.
The Pochet Group has a proven track record of upholding exceptional glass quality and exceedingly high standards while attempting to reduce waste production through digitalization. To better manage our operations and product quality, we started implementing an artificial intelligence tool in our glass manufacturing facility three years ago. With the instruments available today, waste levels can be decreased without compromising quality. Our clients want to upscale their packaging as a part of their sustainability plans.

Our professions’ strength is producing in France. Being local to our clients is a key competitive advantage when it comes to supply chain agility and carbon footprint. And this benefit is even more significant now that our customers are increasingly including geopolitical risks into their supply security strategies. For metals and plastics, we have a presence in Brazil and China, and we remain open to new prospects to assist the expansion of our clients.
