Manufacturer of adhesive films for visual communication, Hexis has just announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Brisbane (Queensland) in Australia. The operation consolidates the distribution of its products, as well as marketing and service in the Australian market, which had already been strongly committed for sixteen years by the company Stickittome, based in Melbourne (Victoria).
“Hexis has experienced continuous growth in Australia for several years,” said Clément Mateu, CEO of Hexis, in a press release. We are absolutely convinced that the Australian market represents substantial growth potential for our company and its partners. This is why we felt it was the right time to invest locally ”.
In terms of logistics, the operation is backed up by a new depot which will house massive storage of Hexis products and film ranges, and a training center providing a local service. Finally, the customers and partners of the Hérault company will also be able to benefit from a dedicated sales department.
“The new Australian subsidiary also reflects our desire to improve the quality of our service and assistance to our customers and distributors in this region,” adds Caroline Mateu, President of Hexis. I am convinced that our presence in the Queensland area will help boost all local and neighboring markets ”.
At the same time, these announcements also lead to a strengthening of the links between Hexis and Stickithome, with a new joint policy intended to ” optimize the offer “. The Australian company will continue to distribute these products in the regions of Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, West Australia, and New South Wales.
Created in 1989 by Michel Mateu and now run by his children Caroline and Clément Mateu, Hexis employs 380 people worldwide and had a forecast of € 100 million in 2017.
